“Coded Bias” — NAIC Screening and Discussion

Faegre Drinker Partner Scott Kosnoff is moderating a panel in conjunction with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ screening of the film “Coded Bias.” This documentary explores the fallout of MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini’s discovery that facial recognition does not see dark-skinned faces accurately, and her journey to push for the first-ever legislation in the U.S. to govern against the bias in the algorithms that impact us all.

Scott will guide a conversation and Q&A session with “Coded Bias” Director Shalini Kantayya and Big Data/AI industry leaders after the film’s online screening.
