Increasingly, companies and organizations recognize the value of diversity, equity and inclusion programs in their business model and daily practices. Similarly, employers understand the importance of personal privacy and the accompanying rules and restrictions. So how do lawyers advise and assist organizations in balancing these needs when they become a paradox?

We discussed the impacts of privacy on diversity and inclusion initiatives, explored the contrasting approaches between the U.S. and EU, and assessed the challenges of implementing a global program.

Continuing Education Credit

New Jersey – 1.2 distance hours of credit for diversity, inclusion, and elimination of bias;

Pennsylvania – 1 distance hour of ethics CLE credit; and
Texas – 1 hour of legal ethics/professional responsibility credit.

An application for approval of this course has been submitted and is pending in the following states: Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota and Virginia.
