Essential Job Functions According to the ADA

Angela Johnson, an associate in the Indianapolis office, gave a presentation sponsored by Lorman Education Services titled “Essential Job Functions According to the ADA.” The course discussed employers’ responsibilities under the ADA and the critical role that essential job functions play in assessing reasonable accommodations of disabled applicants and employees. Angela also discussed the ADA interactive process along with best practices for avoiding common compliance pitfalls.
