The 2023 Labor & Employment Supreme Court Roundup: The Cases that Affect the Workplace
Labor & Employment Series: Staying on Top of Your Game
Webinar
Overview
In the 2022-23 term, the Supreme Court has once again issued several landmark decisions that will affect the workplace and every American. Among the most significant cases are Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College and Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina, in which the Court reversed long-standing precedent and effectively prohibited the use of race in college admissions, and Groff v. DeJoy, in which the Court revisited the standard for religious accommodations in the workplace. Other decisions covered subjects ranging from jurisdiction to arbitration agreements. Please join Thomas Johnson, Sylvia Bokyung St. Clair, Zoey Twyford and Jason Goldwater for a one-hour webinar reviewing the Supreme Court’s decisions and their practical effect on employers. We will also provide participants with a sneak peek at the upcoming 2023-24 term and the cases to watch.
