Faegre Drinker Partner Rick Pearl spoke at Rutgers University’s Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing on a panel titled “Policy School: Congress’ Legislative Intent in Creating the ESOP” where he discussed ERISA legislative history and Congressional materials that evidence Congress’ intent for employee stock ownership plans, and how that information can be used in litigation involving ESOPs.
