Empowering Our Community: Period Kit Assembly With Faegre Drinker

Faegre Drinker’s Chicago office, in conjunction with the Association of Corporate Counsel Chicago, welcomed nearly 60 volunteers that assembled 800 period kits for The Period Collective, a Chicago-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting equitable access to menstrual products for all individuals. The Period Collective plans to distribute the period kits throughout the Chicagoland area to unhoused and low-income individuals through organizations they partner with such as the Healthcare Alternative System: BASTA Domestic Violence Program, Advocate Trauma Center, Moraine Township Food Pantry and the Pioneer Center for Human Services.
