Educating the Judiciary & Juries on Patents & Technology

At the annual DRI Business and IP Litigation Super Conference in Philadelphia, Frank DiGiovanni joined two federal judges on a panel to discuss practical advice about teaching judges and juries about patent law principles and highly sophisticated technology. Chief Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon of the District of Delaware were the other panelists. The panel addressed various ways (using a variety of procedural mechanisms) to present cases, arguments and technology to judges and juries in a persuasive and understandable manner.
