The Backbone of Stability: NCIGF's Role in Guaranty Funds and Receivership

Insurance partner Patrick Hughes moderated a roundtable discussion titled “The Backbone of Stability: NCIGF's Role in Guaranty Funds and Receivership” at the 2024 Louisiana Department of Insurance Conference. 

The discussion centered on the shortcomings of out-of-state insurers presented in both property and casualty and life and health guaranty funds. The panel explained how the fund’s respective national associations play a role in supporting local guaranty funds and issues that may arise for receiverships in the future.
