Hot Topics in Pharmacy Law

Insurance partner Jay Warmuth and health care partner Jonathan Keller presented at a New Jersey State Bar Association to provide an overview of hot topics in pharmacy law. 

Warmuth and Keller discussed pharmacy benefit manger (PBM) functions and the role they play in the prescription drug distribution system, such as affecting costs and access. They also highlighted the increasing regulatory scrutiny of PBMs and other significant industry trends, such as GLP-1 compounding, recent DEA rules impacting pharmacy practice and recent FDA guidance impacting pharmacies.
