Overview

Join Carrie Connolly, Matthew Kinsman and John Smith for a discussion on the anticipated U.S.-Japan trade policy of President Donald Trump and the associated compliance challenges that U.S. and Japan trading partners are facing. Topics will include:

  • The increased focus on tariffs — both actual and threatened — as a multipronged U.S. policy tool
  • Priority items on the U.S.-Japan bilateral trade agenda
  • Evolving industry standards in supply chain due diligence with respect to environmental policy, labor issues and “tariff creep,” i.e., instituting tariffs on third-country goods to target upstream products

Please note that this webinar will be simulcast in both English and Japanese, and this feature will also be present with the on-demand recording..
