Expert Witness Training Course

Princeton partner Vince Gentile and Chicago partner Dan Delaney served as faculty at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Expert Witness Training Course, held April 28-30, 2011, in Washington, D.C. 

This was the inaugural session of the course, which aims to train accounting professionals in the skills and techniques required for effective expert testimony in damages and business valuation cases.  Approximately 30 "student" participants attended the three-day course, which featured instruction by several prominent accounting expert witnesses and culminated in a mock trial where the participants were videotaped conducting direct testimony and cross examination.
