Rachael Dettmann Spiegel Quoted in KPC News on How Processors are Adjusting to FSMA Regulations

Faegre Baker Daniels associate Rachael Dettmann Spiegel was quoted in KPC News about the adjustments processors are making to adhere to Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations. Processors, not producers, are required to adapt to the reforms by this year.

“Liability starts when you begin processing the commodity … the moment it’s milled, then FSMA kicks in,” said Spiegel.
