Tony Pozos Comments on Opioid Related Enforcement

Philadelphia partner Tony Pozos spoke to Bloomberg Law for an article titled “Fraudulent Opioid Prescribers Can Expect More Federal Charges.”

The article addressed an increase in opioid-related False Claims Act (FCA) settlements with individuals in 2018, and as well as increased criminal opioid enforcement.  Tony noted that new criminal enforcement initiatives, including the Appalachian Regional Prescription Opioid Strike Force, may affect the government’s FCA enforcement efforts.
