Partner Barry Gross Featured on NBC 10 Discussing Mueller Report
Partner Barry Gross spoke with NBC 10 about the recent Mueller Report findings disclosed by Attorney General William Barr. The news segment focused on interest in finding out all of the contents of the Mueller Report, including the push by some politicians to have the entire report released to the public.
During the portion of the segment where Barry was interviewed he was asked if there are reasons why the public won’t see all or parts of the report. He responded, “Yes, I would say there are four legitimate reasons.” The four reasons he cited include: grand jury secrecy, information collected about people not charged with a crime, the President may exert executive privilege, and there could be details affecting other ongoing investigations. “If that information came out there now that could impede the investigation, which you never want,” he continued.
