Health and Life Sciences Trends for 2021 and Beyond

Indianapolis partner and co-leader of the firm’s health and life sciences industry group Patrick Cross authored an article for the Indianapolis Business Journal titled, “Health and life sciences trends for 2021 and beyond,” that breaks down a list of health and life sciences (HLS) trends that could influence the historical narrative of the pandemic’s long-term impact on the industry.

Cross discusses the speed at which HLS companies worked and the collaboration among them. Other topics the article focuses on include the proliferation of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs), supply chain opportunities and the expansion of digital health. Lastly, Cross notes how the pandemic highlighted the need to rethink how HLS companies manage clinical trials.
