Practice-Preparedness Opportunities: Then and Now
Business litigation partner Angela Kelver Hall and associate Liam Williams coauthored an article for Indiana Lawyer that explores their alma mater, Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and the practice-preparedness opportunities offered that prepared the attorneys for the transition to law firm work.
The attorneys provide overviews of their experiences at Maurer and the experiential opportunities provided during their time at the school – Kelver Hall in the early 2000s and Williams in the late 2010s. They conclude that law schools have evolved over time to better prepare their students for legal work, and they emphasize the importance of practical opportunities.
