Jim Birge Speaks to Indiana Lawyer About the 10th Annual Indianapolis M&A Conference

In “Faegre Drinker M&A Conference Continues Evolving in 10th Year,” Indiana Lawyer reported on the firm’s annual Indianapolis M&A Conference, which took place on May 8, 2023. The publication spoke to corporate partner, and founder and chair of the conference, Jim Birge for his insight on the conference and its continuous evolution.

Birge reflected on how the event has grown and its partnership with IBJ’s Fast 25 program. He noted reasons why companies attend the conference, bringing all the major players in M&A deals into one place, and said the event is already beneficial for the deal professionals who can share their experiences and expertise with each other.

“For me,” he said, “I want to always find ways to make it more interesting and relevant for the audience.”

Birge added that he’s interested in bringing in more national thought leaders who aren’t otherwise on the panels, as well as using the conference to provide more targeted education to companies.
