Project Helping Meet Legal Needs for LGBTQ+ Hoosiers

In the article “Project helping meet legal needs for LGBTQ+ Hoosiers” associates Molly Madden and Cassidy Segura Clouse gave an overview on how the Indiana Legal Services, Inc. LGBT Project is helping clients in the LGBTQ+ community in Indiana. 

Beginning in 2016, the Project quickly established itself as one of the state’s premier pro bono services for LGBTQ+ Hoosiers, helping many overcome legal challenges, from finding gender-affirming care to filing name change petitions. 

Madden and Clouse note that the Project takes on 15-20 clients a week and is looking to grow its staff and volunteers to meet the needs of clients.
