Overview

Nick Alford represents clients in complex litigation, including product liability, mass torts, class actions and state attorney general actions. Nick also helps clients manage and mitigate risk associated with product recalls.

He has a passion for helping clients solve complex problems and enjoys developing legal strategies to achieve optimal outcomes under difficult circumstances. Nick leads dynamic teams to help tackle complex legal briefing, identify and attack weaknesses in an opposing expert’s opinion, and develop winning legal strategies. He represents a range of clients in the medical device, pharmaceutical, consumer products, animal health, food, automotive and technology industries.

Prior Experience

During law school, Nick served as a legal and contracts intern with Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, participated in the Protective Order Project helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault obtain protection orders, and served as a summer associate at Faegre Drinker in Indianapolis.

Before becoming a lawyer, Nick spent more than two years with the U.S. Peace Corps as a natural resource management volunteer in Togo.

Personal Interests

When not at the office, Nick enjoys being outdoors with his family, whether they are backpacking, camping, hiking or visiting one of the many National Parks.
