Adrian represents clients in all manner of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, office, health care, industrial and retail leasing, and joint ventures.

Real Estate & Construction Finance

Adrian has represented both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of real estate-secured finance transactions, including acquisition, construction and mezzanine loans. He is knowledgeable in all manners of the loan life cycle from negotiating loan documents, conducting due diligence and completing closing.

Real Estate Development

Adrian assists clients with their real estate development needs in Pennsylvania. He routinely advises clients with respect to the permitting process in the greater Philadelphia area and has led clients through the creation and administration of planned communities for multiphased development projects.

Representative Experience

• Represented a multistate lender on the successful completion of an $11 million loan for the construction of the horizontal improvements of an approximately 280-unit residential development in Winslow Township, New Jersey.
• Represented a global real estate development firm on the successful sale of an approximately 280-unit, 317,740 square foot apartment community in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania to a global investment banking, securities and asset management firm.
• Represented a national developer as Pennsylvania counsel in connection with the acquisition of a 170-acre parcel in Chester County, Pennsylvania for the development of three warehouse/distribution buildings totaling 1.9 million square feet, including handling due diligence, land use approvals and negotiating agreements with municipal and state government authorities.
• Represented a global property and casualty insurer in a build to suit credit tenant lease of an 18-story office building containing approximately 450,000 square feet in Center City Philadelphia to serve as the new regional headquarters for Chubb Insurance and its affiliates.
• Represented a major communications company in connection with its leases for the nationwide rollout of a retail store concept.
• Represented a publicly traded retail REIT in connection with restructuring of the company’s three main credit facilities aggregating $1 billion secured by mortgages and deeds of trust encumbering 13 properties in multiple states.
• Represented a regional health system with the leasing of critical office space.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, and staying active running and mountain biking.
