Overview
Yufeng Dong provides strategic guidance to clients as they develop and manage patent portfolios, with an extensive technical background informing his approach. His areas of technical proficiency include semiconductor fabrication, electronic materials/devices, integrated circuit, sensor technology, nanotechnology, opto-electro-mechanical systems, telecommunication, mechanical/chemical/material engineering and artificial intelligence/machine learning. Yufeng advises clients on patentability, invalidity or non-infringement with respect to IP rights; patent application preparation and prosecution; IP protection strategies; and training and education programs.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Yufeng was a patent agent for a Fortune 500 company, where he managed hundreds of patent families in a global portfolio. His academic research focused on novel semiconductor materials and devices.
Personal Interests
Yufeng is passionate about cutting-edge technology, ranging from artificial intelligence to autonomous driving, and from advanced semiconductor technologies to nuclear fusion.
