Overview

Matthew Doyle counsels insurance clients in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, investment transactions, and financings.

Insurance Transactions & Compliance

Matt negotiates and drafts transaction documents and assists with entity formation and corporate governance. He also liaises with state regulators and prepares insurance regulatory filings and other change-of-control documents.

Prior Experience

Immediately prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Matt was a corporate associate in the New York City office of an international law firm. During law school, he worked in the legislative department of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, where he advocated for expanded veterans benefits on Capitol Hill. He also previously served for nearly a decade with the United States Army, including three combat deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, for which he was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking, winter sports and reading nonfiction.
