Overview

Drew Horwood represents clients in complex commercial litigation and other corporate matters. Drew brings in-house experience to bear when helping clients navigate complex disputes — and avoid others entirely.

Prior Experience

A former summer associate with the firm, Drew rejoins following a clerkship with U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the Northern District of Illinois, and three years as an associate in Chicago with one of the five largest U.S. law firms. During that time, Drew represented clients in contract disputes, fraud and False Claims Act cases, and federal and state investigations of pharmaceutical companies.

In 2020 and 2021, Drew worked on secondment for the in-house litigation team of a European-based energy and engineering conglomerate, to develop new reporting and approval procedures and manage the work of attorneys in disputes across five continents.

Prior to attending law school, Drew worked as a business analyst with Cargill, Inc., in Minnesota.
