Overview

Michael Lapicola partners with clients to manage every step of the construction project lifecycle — including project delivery, contract drafting and negotiation, project documentation and management, and dispute resolution. He represents project owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, lenders and sureties in dozens of states across the United States.

Construction Project Counsel

Mike provides daily consultation to clients regarding procurement, licensing, liens, bonds, insurance, indemnity, delays, defects, changes, payment, termination and other construction project matters.

Construction Contracts

Mike drafts and negotiates all types of construction contracts, including design agreements, design-build contracts, EPC agreements, purchase orders, bid documents, indemnity agreements, joint venture agreements and IPD agreements. He also reviews and drafts construction documents related to construction financing for energy, housing, health care, retail, hotel, gaming and other projects.

Construction Dispute Resolution

Mike represents clients in claims development, arbitrations, mediations, litigation, settlement and other dispute resolution activities involving construction issues.
