Overview

Alec Minea represents clients in real estate and corporate transactions that include property acquisitions, dispositions, financings and leases. He brings a detail-oriented eye to the review and negotiation of key transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, mortgages and loan agreements, easement agreements, lease agreements, and other contracts.

Real Estate Transactions

Alec supports buyers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants in transactions involving various types of real estate assets, including office, multifamily, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties. Throughout the United States, he has helped clients buy and sell single properties and multistate portfolios, and devised and executed business-minded lease arrangements.

Alec works closely with clients to achieve their business objectives. He provides comprehensive legal support that aligns with clients’ strategic goals, and drafts key documents, reviews due diligence materials and assists with closing transactions.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Alec was an associate in the corporate real estate practice at a major international law firm.

Personal Interests

Alec spends his free time enjoying Minnesota’s outdoors, regardless of season. In the summer he likes to go golfing, hiking and camping, and in the winter, he braves the elements to play pond hockey and go skiing.
