Overview

Brian Morgan represents companies in commercial disputes in both state and federal courts across the country, with an emphasis on financial litigation, claims against professional service firms, commercial landlord/tenant actions, and suits involving complex accounting and damages issues.

Brian also represents debtors, trustees, committees, and secured and unsecured creditors in complex Chapter 11 matters that include, among other issues, objections to confirmation, motions to dismiss, motions for the appointment of a chapter 11 trustee, relief from the automatic stay, claims objections, and disputes concerning the assumption or rejection of leases and lease cure amounts. Further, Brian regularly prosecutes and defends clients in avoidance action litigation, including preference and fraudulent transfer actions.

Prior Experience

While in law school, Brian interned for the Honorable David B. Vaughan, justice of the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County. He joined the firm following a clerkship with the Honorable W. Hunt Dumont, presiding judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County.
