Overview

Lucy Onyeforo represents clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, as well as in intellectual property and employment litigation. She has defended clients in depositions and managed e-discovery in both litigation and internal corporate investigations.

With a demonstrated acumen for a broad range of legal issues, Lucy’s experience is amplified by her experience in law practices in the United Kingdom as well as the United States. With an international athletic career as a sprinter and bobsledder for Great Britain, she was seconded to the 2012 London Olympic Games Organising Committee Legal Team, where she worked on several issues relating to brand protection and ambush marketing.

Personal Interests

Lucy is a former bobsledder, and has represented Great Britain at the World Championships and World Cup. She won a bronze medal in the America’s Cup at Lake Placid (her first-ever bobsled race) and was named on the 2014 Olympic Long List for Great Britain. As a sprinter, she has been a champion and medalist in several British regional competitions, has competed in the Great Britain Olympic trials, and in U.S. Ivy League competitions with several podium finishes.
