Andrew has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the United States, drafting appeal briefs, managing the prosecution of international patent portfolios, and participating in administrative patent challenges proceedings. In addition, Andrew is experienced preparing both infringement and non-infringement opinions as well as validity and invalidity opinions for clients.

Andrew’s technical focus is in the software and electrical technology space. He has extensive experience related to operating systems (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, iOS) as well as:

Andrew helps clients identify areas in their patent portfolios that can be strengthened, and find new ways to monetize their existing IP. He counsels clients on the appropriate timing of patent applications, and collaborates with in-house counsel to develop patent programs and filing strategies tailored to a company’s needs.
