Overview
A proven leader, Steve Schmidt manages and oversees systems and processes that support the preparation and delivery of U.S. employment-based visa petitions, international visas and work permits, I-9 compliance, and strategic planning and execution of international employee transfers. He uses his diverse immigration experience, knowledge of legal six sigma methodologies, high level of attention to detail, and "can do" attitude to meet clients’ needs.
Process & Technology Experience
Steve supports clients by:
- Assessing and managing existing and prospective technology platforms, with focus on case management systems for U.S. inbound and global practice
- Effectively communicating new technology developments to stakeholders
- Managing, developing and implementing system/process protocols and training
- Training corporate and foreign national clients on case management system and processes
- Managing, developing and implementing best practices for data compliance and management
- Following proven legal process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Reviewing, recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives
- Preparing and presenting technology and process improvement capabilities to clients
- Ensuring that processes deliver exceptional service to the client
Steve maintains a high realization rate due to his highly efficient work style and integrated work flow processes. He also serves as one of the group's database administrators.

Steve has experience in all areas of employment-based immigration, including the preparation of U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, as well as outbound immigration applications.
