Abe is responsible for a portfolio of trademark, copyright, domain and customs matters comprising more than 6,500 individual properties in more than 125 territories. He handles these matters on behalf of companies ranging from large multinational companies with hundreds of individual properties in nearly every jurisdiction worldwide to small startups from Indianapolis and elsewhere that leverage smaller portfolios.

Agreements and License Negotiation

Abe represents companies in need of contract drafting, negotiation, and licensing where protection, leverage, and maintenance of intellectual property, technology, data, and confidentiality are primary concerns.

Dispute Resolution by Non-traditional Means

Abe assists property holders in pre-litigation contexts through effective and efficient leveraging of administrative processes that address infringements and other concerns through the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), cancellation and opposition proceedings, cease and desist and pre-litigation settlement negotiations, notice and take-downs (DMCA), and terms of service and other social media, web-hosting, privacy violations reporting.
