James Shepherd advises clients on labor and employment matters, as well as litigation and dispute resolution.

Prior Experience

James completed a summer placement with the firm in 2022.

Before joining Faegre Drinker, James worked in operations at the New York-based outdoor lifestyle brand Westerlind. Previously, he interned at Soutien Belge Overseas, a refugee aid organization based in Lebanon. He also has held various U.S.-related internships including at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts.

Personal Interests

In his free time, James enjoys running in Victoria Park and cycling around London. He is a keen surfer and has recently spent time in the South Pacific honing his skills. James enjoys the natural world and likes to hike in national parks and camp along the way. He is an avid art and music fan, regularly attending new exhibits, shows and concerts.
