Overview

Edan Shertzer leads clients through a variety of commercial lending transactions, including syndicated loan facilities, asset-based financings, private equity lending and project financings.

As counsel to commercial and investment banks, other financial institutions, and companies, Edan engages in all aspects of structuring, negotiating and documenting debt transactions, including the negotiation of credit agreements, security and collateral documents, and intercreditor arrangements. Edan has advised clients in transactions across a wide range of industries, including food and agribusiness, energy (including renewable fuels), manufacturing, and aviation.

Edan’s experience also extends to advising lenders, companies and sellers in financing transactions involving employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and ESOP-owned entities.

Whether representing borrowers, lenders, arrangers or other participants in complex debt financings, Edan’s goal is to guide clients using practical, business-oriented advice.

Prior Experience

Before joining the firm, Edan was an associate at a New York-based law firm, where he managed bank finance, corporate restructuring and acquisition finance transactions.
