Niko Spilson helps clients reach the best solutions for their businesses when dealing with complex product liability litigation.

Niko is devoted to building genuine relationships grounded in mutual trust, respect and understanding. Having a relationship-focused approach to his practice not only lets him achieve better results, but lets him provide the right results for each client’s unique needs.

Prior Experience

During law school, Niko was a summer associate of the firm for two years. He drafted memoranda on complex legal questions, participated in client calls, and observed administrative hearings for pro bono matters.

At law school, he organized a discussion on diversity, equity and inclusion with Justice Kyra Bolden of the Michigan Supreme Court; volunteered with Know Your Rights, presenting on the Fourth Amendment to students at a Detroit high school to inform them of their constitutional rights during a police interaction; and at the Civil Rights Clinic, he assisted a professor in representing incarcerated clients’ civil rights claims by drafting pleadings, taking depositions, communicating with opposing counsel, and drafting appellate briefs for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, Niko enjoys seeking out opportunities to mentor youth as well as young professionals with aspirations of attending law school and joining the practice of law. As a Greek-American, Niko enjoys spending time searching for new Mediterranean cuisine and the city’s best cup of espresso. He is also an avid fan of professional basketball and enjoys attending games throughout the season.
