Overview

Stefanie Tubbs is an experienced litigator who represents clients in matters involving labor and employment, trusts and estates, and a variety of complex commercial issues. She represents major health care, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and manufacturing companies in all stages of state and federal court litigation, with particular skills in motion practice, discovery, expert work and challenges, and appellate proceedings, including amicus briefing in the United States Supreme Court.

Stefanie maintains an active pro bono practice focused on advocating for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals in civil rights and habeas corpus matters. She was part of a team that obtained a multimillion-dollar settlement for a client who was wrongfully imprisoned for 24 years, and she currently represents an incarcerated client in federal appellate habeas corpus proceedings.

Stefanie is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a finalist in the Ames Moot Court Competition, vice president of the Harvard Mediation Program and a teaching assistant in Harvard’s Negotiation Workshop. Before law school, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in central Ukraine and worked at the U.S. Department of State.

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Stefanie served as an associate in the Philadelphia office of an international law firm, where her practice focused on product liability, mass tort and complex commercial litigation matters.
