Overview

Laura Wall counsels insurance and financial services clients on a range of matters, including regulatory compliance issues, dispute resolution and litigation. Laura has defended major insurers in complex civil litigation and class actions in federal and state courts across the country. She has experience litigating matters related to the administration of life insurance and annuities, sales practices, adequacy of disclosures, suitability, fraud, bad-faith claims and premium financing issues. Laura’s current litigation practice focuses on representing life insurers in California class action lawsuits related to lapse and reinstatement issues, as well as in individual lawsuits in various state and federal courts related to material misrepresentation and rescission.

Previous Experience

During law school, Laura worked as a summer intern in the Environmental Torts Branch of the Department of Justice.
