Joan Marie Wright

Joan Wright is a certified paralegal with more than 20 years’ experience. She supports a nationally recognized trial team in defending pharmaceutical and financial service clients facing governmental investigations and inquiries, enforcement proceedings, and complex litigation involving the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute. Joan’s extensive experience augments her effectiveness in supporting the firm’s attorneys and clients in a broad range of matters.

She manages complex litigation from case inception through trial. At the start of a matter, Joan conducts investigatory research, and drafts and prepares subpoenas for service. In the discovery phase, she manages complex document procurement and data collection as well as electronic discovery, performs document review, and coordinates document production. She is adept at case management, as well as docket and deadline management.

In preparing for depositions and testimony, Joan completes extensive research and exhaustive document review on fact and expert witnesses. She checks substance and citations in pleadings and briefs; and drafts correspondence, discovery, court pleadings and notices. If a client takes a case to trial, Joan prepares and organizes exhibits and demonstratives, manages witnesses, and assists the team at every aspect of trial.
