Our construction team drafted and negotiated a series of contracts for the engineering, manufacturing and installation of autonomous components at a logistics provider's facilities throughout the world. The contracts involved the development and installation of robotic arms used to sort and handle packages at the company's facilities, which required the team to negotiate terms related to engineering, construction, artificial intelligence software, automation, information security, product development, and other related issues. In addition, our firm represented the company in connection with the purchase of thousands of autonomous vehicles, which will be deployed throughout their facilities to aid in logistics operations. The contract involved significant warranty, indemnity, data privacy, and supply-chain issues that were negotiated over a number of months.
