OTG Management successfully settled a wage and hour class action complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. The plaintiffs, servers and bartenders at different restaurants within Terminal C at LaGuardia Airport, alleged that they did not receive wage statements, overtime, tips and the tip credit is not applicable because they performed more than 20% of non-tipped activities. This case involved more than 340 workers, and settled on a class-wide basis in October 2018. Our firm represented OTG Management in the matter.
