The U.K. subsidiary of a global waste management company undertook a protracted collective redundancy process, with our firm managing the entire process.
Our London employment team was initially involved in a high-level advisory capacity before being engaged by the client to supervise the day-to-day process from beginning to end. This redundancy process related to all employees of the business, across varying levels of seniority, and culminated in a successfully implemented consultation process by the company in very difficult circumstances.
As a result of the efforts of the employment team, our London corporate team was asked to handle the subsequent sale of the U.K. business.
