Piper Sandler Acquires Cornerstone Macro

Investment bank Piper Sandler acquired Cornerstone Macro, an independent research firm that offers macro research and equity derivatives trading for institutional investors all over the world from offices in New York and Washington, D.C. Faegre Drinker represented Piper Sandler in the transaction, which will strengthen the investment bank’s position as a top institutional equities research, sales and trading platform. As part of the deal, Cornerstone Macro will bring more than 50 professionals, including 21 research analysts, to Piper Sandler.
