Boutique Real Estate Investment Firm Resolves Trademark Infringement Action

United States - New York

A boutique real estate investment firm brought a trademark infringement action against another similarly named real estate investment firm on the basis that its name was likely to cause confusion. Our firm represented the boutique real estate investment firm in the matter. The action was litigated in the Southern District of New York, where our firm obtained dismissal of a counterclaim seeking to cancel the boutique real estate investment firm's trademark registration on the basis that the registration was incontestable. The action was ultimately settled.
