Burnett Equities Purchases Hotel Martinique New York on Broadway

Burnett Equities completed a $55 million purchase of the 531-room Hotel Martinique New York on Broadway. Designated a landmark property by the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC), the Hotel Martinique is one of the city’s oldest operating hotels. Faegre Drinker represented Burnett Equities in obtaining land use approvals for the purchase. The Faegre Drinker team interfaced directly with the LPC and secured a report to understand upcoming plans to renovate the exterior of the building and any other issues related to the hotel’s landmark status prior to completing the transaction.
