Laureate Education Sells Walden University to Adtalem Global Education

Laureate Education sold Walden University, a leading online institution of higher education focused on health care and behavioral sciences education with over 45,000 graduate and undergraduate students, to Adtalem Global Education. Faegre Drinker’s education team represented Laureate Education in the transaction, providing counsel with respect to all education regulatory aspects of the deal. This included advising Laureate and Walden on all regulatory aspects of the transaction documents and numerous required regulatory consents from state higher education authorities, accrediting bodies and the U.S. Department of Education.
