Faegre Drinker represented client UnitedHealth Group in a collaboration with Walmart that is intended to bring together the collective experience of both companies in serving millions of people with high-quality, affordable health services that improve health outcomes and improve the patient experience.
The 10-year, wide-ranging collaboration will begin in 2023 with 15 Walmart Health locations in Florida and Georgia and will expand over time to serve hundreds of thousands of Medicare beneficiaries through Medicare Advantage plans. In the future, the collaboration intends to serve more people, including those across commercial and Medicaid plans.
