Baker & Daniels Adds 21 Lawyers to Practice Groups

Twenty-one lawyers have joined Baker & Daniels LLP as associates in its Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Washington, D.C. offices.

Attorneys practicing in the law firm's Indianapolis locations include Jacalyn C. Bolles, Marcelo S. Copat, Amy K. Cornell, L. Lin Calvin Ding, Shawn M. Doorhy, John O. Gaidoo, Teresa A. Griffin, Sarah C. Jenkins, Kevin M. Kimmerling, Jamie M. Metzger, Heather E. Moore, Matthew G. Morris, Jennifer M. Phelps, Nigel R. Stark and Eric T. Thieme.

Attorneys basing their practice out of Baker & Daniels' Fort Wayne office are Benjamin S. Faurote, Kevin J. Mitchell and John S. Rossero. Andrew B. Murphy and Jason D. Schultz are practicing from the firm's South Bend office, while Elizabeth (Libby) L. Baney works in the Washington, D.C. office.

Jacalyn Bolles joins Baker & Daniels' corporate finance practice. She graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.

Marcelo Copat practices in the firm's intellectual property group. He received his undergraduate degree from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and graduated cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Prior to law school, Marcelo was the director of intellectual property and business strategy for a multinational corporation and held various management positions in international business, technology and manufacturing.

Amy Cornell joins the health and life sciences practice group. She graduated with distinction from Purdue University and received her law degree cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis and a LL.M. from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Calvin Ding is a member of Baker & Daniels' international law practice group. He is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Minnesota Law School.

Shawn Doorhy joins the construction, environmental law and real property litigation group. He received both his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

John Gaidoo practices in the firm's labor and employment group. He is a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, received his B.A. from Indiana University and graduated from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Prior to receiving his law degree, John worked as a federally contracted engineer and an avionics technician.

Teresa Griffin is a member of Baker & Daniels' business litigation practice group with a concentration in family law. She graduated magna cum laude from DePauw University and received her J.D. summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

Sarah Jenkins practices in the firm's trusts and estates group. She graduated from Indiana University and magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington.

Kevin Kimmerling joins the firm's business litigation practice group. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington. Before law school, Kimmerling was a business associate for Deloitte Consulting in Chicago.

Jamie Metzger is a member of Baker & Daniels' intellectual property practice group. She graduated with distinction from Purdue University and received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law.

Heather Moore joins the firm's nonprofit practice group. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Wheaton College and from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

Matthew Morris is a member of the labor and employment practice group. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. Before attending law school, Morris was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy.

Jennifer Phelps is a member of Baker & Daniels' product liability litigation group. She graduated cum laude from Miami (Ohio) University and received her masters of public health from Johns Hopkins University. She then received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Before joining Baker & Daniels, Phelps practiced for the international firm of Bingham McCutcheon LLP in Los Angeles.

Nigel Stark practices in the firm's health and life sciences group with a concentration in data privacy and information security law. He graduated cum laude from the University of Washington and with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

Eric Thieme is a member of the firm's health and life sciences group. He graduated from Miami (Ohio) University and received his J.D. summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

Benjamin Faurote focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and with distinction from Ohio Northern University's Pettit College of Law.

Kevin Mitchell joins Baker & Daniels' business litigation group. He received his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Ashland University and law degree cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

John Roserro is a member of the firm's labor and employment practice group. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, M.B.A. from the Indiana Graduate School of Business and J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Before joining Baker & Daniels, Roserro worked as a production control and logistics manager for Delphi Corp.

Andrew Murphy practices in the labor and employment group. He graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University and magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Jason Schultz joins Baker & Daniels' health and life sciences group. He received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law.

Elizabeth Baney focuses her practice on regulatory matters in the health and insurance industries. She graduated from Indiana University with highest distinction and earned her J.D. cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington.
