15 Lawyers Join Partnership of Faegre Baker Daniels

Faegre Baker Daniels LLP welcomes 15 lawyers as new members of its partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2014.

Following are brief biographies of the new Faegre Baker Daniels partners:

Jeffrey S. Beck is a graduate of Indiana State University (B.S., 1993) and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, Dean's List, Order of the Barristers, 2004). He represents businesses in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts.

Thomas W. Beimers graduated from Macalester College (B.A., 1991) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 1998). He counsels health care clients on regulatory, compliance and health care fraud matters.

Christopher H. Dolan attended the College of Saint Scholastica (B.A., summa cum laude, 2001) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., Dean's List, 2006). He focuses on environmental and natural resources litigation, environmental review, administrative proceedings, permitting, and compliance matters.

Brian R. Garrison graduated from DePauw University (B.A., 2000) and the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, 2006). He concentrates his practice on counseling and representing management in labor relations and employment matters.

Roberta (Bert) J. Hanson graduated from Texas A&M University (B.S.), the University of Arizona (Ph.D.) and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (J.D., 2008). She focuses on biotech patent prosecution and opinions, as well as intellectual property portfolio strategies, agreements, IP due diligence and litigation support.

Victor P. Jonas graduated from the University of Minnesota (B.S., 1999) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, 2005). His intellectual property practice includes portfolio analysis and strategy, patent preparation and prosecution, patent validity and infringement evaluations, technology licensing and development agreements, and litigation support.

Matthew Kilby is a litigator who represents clients at both the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts across the country. He is a graduate of St. John's University (B.A., summa cum laude, 2000) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, 2003).

Matthew R. Kuhn graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, 2006) and Georgetown University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2002). He practices corporate law, counseling on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities regulation.

Jane E. Maschka is a veteran trial lawyer, litigating complex financial disputes (including representing some of the nation's largest banks), and a leader in tribal gaming litigation. She graduated from the University of Virginia (B.A., high distinction, 1999) and Harvard Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2004).

Marc D. Pfleging focuses on real estate and land use law, counseling on development, acquisitions, leasing, financing, land use planning and zoning. He graduated from DePauw University (B.A., 2003) and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2006).

Anne K. Ricchiuto graduated from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, 2005) and Northwestern University (B.S., 2000). She assists public and private companies with a variety of business disputes and has experience in state and federal court, arbitration proceedings and administrative hearings.

James (J.J.) J. Saul is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 1999) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D., 2005). He is an intellectual property lawyer focusing on trademark, copyright, advertising and media law.

Joel P. Schroeder is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (B.A., with honors, 2000) and the University of St. Thomas School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2004). He represents employers in all types of employment-related litigation, with an emphasis on non-compete and trade secret litigation.

Lee M. Tumminello advises life sciences companies on commercial, regulatory and compliance matters related to the clinical development and marketing of pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices. Tumminello is a graduate of Indiana University (B.S., with highest distinction, 1984) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1987).

Isaac (Ike) M. Willett is a graduate of Indiana University (B.A., 2001) and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2005). He represents health care clients in business transactions and counsels on developing regulatory strategies, structural matters and business planning.
