Faegre Baker Daniels Admits 13 Associates and Counsel to Partnership

Faegre Baker Daniels is proud to announce that 13 former associates and counsel will be admitted to the firm’s partnership effective Jan. 1, 2017.

The partnership voted to admit the firm’s following lawyers to partner, listed by office:

Chicago

Shawn Doorhy drafts and negotiates all types of construction contracts, as well as addressing disputes. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law (J.D., 2007) and the University of North Carolina (B.A., 2003).

Denver

Sarah Kellner focuses on complex real estate litigation and eminent domain matters as well as class action disputes. She is a graduate of University of Colorado Law School (J.D., 2006) and Wake Forest University (B.A., 2003).

Richard Marsh, Jr. focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, patent validity and infringement evaluations, and litigation support. He is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 2009) and Brigham Young University (B.S., magna cum laude, 2006).

Jeffrey Roberts is a business litigator and antitrust counselor who represents national and local clients in complex cases in the food, agriculture, energy, financial services, insurance, health care, retail, sports and consumer electronic industries. He is a graduate of University of Iowa College of Law (J.D., 2005) and Princeton University (A.B., 1999).

Fort Wayne

Peter Meyer represents clients in virtually all phases of litigation, with particular focuses in mass tort defense and coordination and drug and device litigation. He is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2008) and University of Toledo (B.A., summa cum laude, 2005).

Kevin Mitchell focuses his practice on all phases of litigation, from discovery and motion practice through trial and appeal. Kevin also has experience representing corporate debtors and creditors in reorganizations and adversary proceedings under the Bankruptcy Code. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2007) and Ashland University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2004).

Indianapolis

Jason Deppen focuses his practice on project finance transactions and advising public companies on SEC reporting requirements, stock exchange listing standards, disclosure issues and general corporate governance matters. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D., 2007) and Indiana University (B.S., 1997).

Max Kelln is a product liability and environmental lawyer who helps businesses of all sizes navigate the complex federal, state, local (and even international) web of environmental requirements and risks. He is a graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, 2007) and Ripon College (B.A., magna cum laude, 2004).

Mallory Korpalski counsels clients on a variety of corporate matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and various other complex transactions, as well as corporate governance and all aspects of day-to-day business needs. She is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 2008) and Michigan State University (B.S., 2005).

Andrew McCoy is a member of the firm's intellectual property group. He counsels a wide range of clients in acquiring, licensing and enforcing patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets; providing due diligence and freedom to operate analysis and opinions. He is a graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2008) and Wabash College (B.A., cum laude, 2005).

Amanda Shelby is an employment litigator with a national practice. She focuses her practice on litigation, risk management, compliance issues and other employment-related matters. She is a graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2008) and Colorado College (B.A., 2003).

Minneapolis

Emily Chow is a business litigation lawyer in the litigation and advocacy group. She focuses on antitrust and complex commercial litigation. Emily is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 2007) and Johns Hopkins University (B.A., 2004).

Brandon Mason is a member of the firm’s corporate group at Faegre Baker Daniels. Primarily a deal lawyer, his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He is a graduate of Columbia Law School (J.D., 2009) and Macalester College (B.A., 2006).
