Faegre Baker Daniels Admits 20 Associates and Counsel to Partnership

Faegre Baker Daniels is proud to announce that 20 former associates and counsel will be admitted to the firm’s partnership effective Jan. 1, 2018.

The partnership voted to admit the firm’s following lawyers to partner, listed by office:

Chicago

Gregory Abrams focuses on defending companies in employment litigation, including representing employers in complex, classwide and systemic litigation. He is a graduate of University of Chicago Law School (J.D., 2003) and the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., 2000).

Kelley Smith is a corporate lawyer who focuses on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, commercial contracts, and franchisor-franchisee relationships. She is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 2008) and University of Michigan (M.Acc., 2005) (B.B.A., 2004).

Denver

Ann Prouty helps clients with a broad range of environmental and natural resources matters. She is a graduate of Columbia Law School (J.D., 2009) and Pomona College B.A., 2005).

Des Moines

Adam Hertzke counsels public and private clients in many areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, bankruptcy and restructuring, and commodity procurement and regulation. He is a graduate of University of Iowa College of Law (J.D., 2009) and Iowa State University (M.B.A., 2006) (B.S., 2004).

Todd Langel assists clients with a broad range of commercial needs, including litigation and arbitration involving commerce in commodities, food and feed ingredients, livestock, raw materials, crop protection chemicals, fertilizer, seed, and related businesses. Damian Gosheff concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning, estate administration and planned charitable giving. He is a graduate of University of Toledo College of Law (J.D., 2005) and Indiana University, Bloomington (B.A., 2001).

Indianapolis 96th Street

Dustin DeNeal specializes in bankruptcy law and banking regulation, including consumer financial services. He is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law (J.D., 2007) and Wabash College (A.B., 2004).

Indianapolis Downtown

Patrick Reilly concentrates his practice on complex litigation, with a primary focus on product liability and sports law matters. He is a graduate of Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (J.D., 2009) and Butler University (B.A., 2006).

John Schlafer practices in the areas of product liability litigation and consumer products regulations. He is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law (J.D., 2009) and Indiana University (B.A., 2004).

Jessica Van Dalen works with clients to prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as government entities in Japan, Europe, Canada, China, Australia and other countries. Lauren Barta litigates complex business matters nationwide and focuses on intellectual property litigation. She is a graduate of University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., 2009) and University of Notre Dame (B.S., 2006).

Adam Nodler focuses his practice on corporate governance issues, shareholder disputes, mergers-and-acquisitions litigation, and internal and government investigations. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (J.D., 2009) and University of Minnesota (B.A., 2006).

Ben Stacke has broad experience in the representation of issuers, underwriters and investors across an array of SEC-registered and exempted capital markets transactions in both the United States and abroad, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, various types of debt offerings and tender offers.
