Larry has deep experience defending insurance and financial services companies in consumer class actions on a range of regulated products, including homeowners and commercial property policies, mortgages, life insurance products, and other types of insurance policies and financial products. Larry also represents businesses in independent contractor misclassification litigation.

Commercial Disputes

Larry represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes including post-M&A disputes; claims by franchisees and distributors; and high-value contract, real estate and tort disputes. He has tried cases to judgment in state and federal courts around the country and is a leader in the firm’s international arbitration practice.

Clients appreciate Larry’s strategic but practical approach to managing risk, informed both by his nearly 10 years of experience working in product, project and marketing management prior to practicing law, and by a year-long part-time secondment with a manufacturing client.

Personal Interests

Larry is passionate about the outdoors. When he’s not working, you’re likely to find him in the north woods of Minnesota, around the Mississippi River, or in the mountains running, hiking, canoeing, kayaking or skiing.
