Faegre Baker Daniels Strengthens Product Liability Practice With Traci McKee

Faegre Baker Daniels has strengthened its product liability practice by adding Traci McKee as counsel. McKee will practice in Florida and provide support on the national level.

As a product liability litigator, McKee defends medical devices that save lives and consumer products that enhance lives. She represents product manufacturers in complex, high stakes litigation such as mass torts and class actions, as well as single-plaintiff claims. With more than a decade of litigation practice, she has substantial experience in all phases of litigation from discovery through trial, having served as first chair and second chair in multiple jury trials.

With the FaegreBD team, McKee defends and coordinates mass tort and multidistrict litigation across the United States and in Canada, particularly on behalf of large medical device makers.

In addition to product liability litigation, McKee previously represented individuals, corporations and governmental entities in professional malpractice, premises liability and personal injury claims. She argued multiple cases in the Second District Court of Appeals in Florida and argued a case to the Florida Supreme Court.

McKee is currently the president of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the president-elect of the Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association.

McKee earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, and a bachelor’s from University of North Florida.
